46175 "Another Gearwheel In The System"
The human race sure is a spectacle when observing Earth without its existence. Human innovation has taken the Earth by storm. As Earth, as nature, preceded humanity, humans are essentially a cog in the emergent, symbiotic system we call the Cosmos. There is no such thing as isolation. Life… Existence is built upon relationship. The relationship with the tree, the body, the bird, your mind, ideas, and the list goes on. The relationship is limitless. The very fact of relationship being the foundation of all existence means that the individual is in the collective; the collective is the individual.
The individual is the droplet of the ocean of existence… But, the very fact that it is an ocean means that every droplet is essential in itself as well as the rest of the ocean. In this, Responsibility is recognized. You are not only responsible for yourself but also your relationships. Compassion is the bread and butter of responsibility and morality.
Dealing with the curse of knowledge and intellect, the human race has become a cancer, a pest not only to the earth and its inhabitants but also to itself. The intellect and knowledge is of the past. This is the ground of all tradition and habit. Also, the intellect is limited for being dualistic and never whole. The essence of karma is not of revenge or justice. Instead, karma is the fact that all that you express will affect you. Since all our expression is into a field of interconnection, you will affect yourself as well. All hate is an effect... not a cause. All selfishness is an effect… not a cause. There is always an influence to a behavior.
Our society is mechanical, which means we are mechanical. We are machines more than humans. What is the machine's fuel? Money and the self-grandeur that comes along with it. This vanity is quite silly and superficial. A droplet is a droplet in the vast ocean of existence. No one is greater or lesser. Comparison becomes child's play for the foolish and stupid.
We do all these petty traditions and habits, yet we have no idea the effects and causes of them. We blindly do as the past tells… commands. This repetition is of a robot, a machine. Are you a machine?
Why do you pay taxes? Why do you pay for food? Why do you pay for clothes? Why do you pay for health? Why do you pay for leisure? Why do you pay to live? Why do you pay to exist? Do you see the scam? This system that is built by the few for the few is never meant for the many… for the all. The society we live in is against the nature of existence, the nature of all. Why do we accept the middle-man that is exploiting and manipulating you by your fears? Why are you so afraid to stand up? Why don't you and I change? …not for personal reasons but for the fact that when something doesn't change it is doomed to its destruction.
Understand the fictional society we live in can be changed as easily how the individual can change. This then asks, what is the non-fictional society? The non-fictional society is Humanity in itself. The very impersonal observation of humanity is the non-fictional.
Now, the natural response of this suffocating habit and tradition is "I need to escape. I can't escape." This is not an issue of escaping. Escaping doesn't change anything. Instead, ask why is there this natural response to escape, to isolate. There is no such thing as isolation since as long as you exist you are in relationship.
Humanity is an organism. The whole and individual are both organisms. There is influence across the board of all individuals. The relationship of individuals creates the organism of the Human Race as a whole. Understanding this, when the individual(s) change, the whole changes along with it. This is called the 100th monkey effect. When that one individual revolutionizes, the rest catch on. When one suffers, this suffering spreads like wild fire. But, not all are affected. There are still the anomalies that break the movement.
The change of all humanity starts in the individual. The very individual is Humanity.
Dealing with the massiveness of existence, the dictator is called Nature… The way things are. Now, when you try to stray off, nature has its way of those who doesn't ride along will not last very long. Of course, Nature is not black and white. Nature is colorful and variable. It is foolish to live your life by an ideal of Nature, because Nature is beyond your idealism no matter cynical, absurd, or true it may be. Truth of the nature is not found in mere words and symbols. Truth is found in the very independence of the words and symbols.
Even thought Nature is inescapable, the very understanding of Nature is freedom in itself. Understand everything that you can. Do understand neither with rejection nor acceptance. To understand impersonally of what is there in itself.
Understand yourself not of separation/isolation. Understand the human race as you are the human race. The Observer is the Observed. The very isolation creates an illusion.
In our cruel, corrupt society, your blood and your sweat from your fears is its fuel. The only freedom you have is self-forgetfulness in sex, drugs, and other means of entertainment. Understand your dependence and attachments. Understand your fear and restless desire.
The society is corrupt because you are corrupt. The society is cruel because you are cruel. As cog in the system, when you change, the system will change. The old will curse the new because old will see death. The new is life of the death of the old. Allow the old to wither for that is its inescapable fate. If you wish to attach to the old, the past, you will die along with it and its misery.
Live on. Die with Vigor. Our time here in existence is very limited… there is no time to not change. Live to Die.
The next generation are reliant on our maturity to change and evolve… let us not let them down.

mother
mother with whistle, button and mace
drops her weapons to the hospital floor
and screams.
father rejoices - a princess! i'll teach her
everything.
mother still screams.
father, laughing - i pity the boy who asks for her hand.
mother holds baby and shrieks.
father's skin crawls - why aren't you happy?
mother screams. mother howls. mother, inconsolable

born dead)

Mother in Faerun
There was a woman living in a land that couldn't be missed
I'd be remissed to admit that such a plight could even exist
but in this land, full of demons, monsters and sickness
I have to wonder how different it is compared to all this
the woman was fragile and weak
clothes tattered
head down all meek
holds her sickly baby tightly
a kiss upon his cheek
the day, like all days, she's finding scraps to eat
she tells her boy not to cry, but it's she who weeps
weeping, weeping, "dry your tears mom, I'm sleeping"
"I know, child, I know, but these harsh winds is steady creeping,
streets of people peeing
other people beating
on each other

City of Trees
City of Trees
By: Tyler E. Yeager - AirTyler of Deviantart 2013
Chipped brown roots lacing through soils and sands; like the feet of a crowd all bunched together.
Leaves and stones scattered beyond count and quantity, like the refuse and trash of a great and noisy festival.
Tall husks of bark reaching high beyond my head; they curl over and disperse like hands raised in celebration.
It's a party in there, one that never tires, one that never ends.
I am its witness, for I've heard the music of the birds and the wind howling and ringing like an age-old song.
Many see me trekking across the city and clear cutting from walkways. Appear

"Live your life not by answers... But with questions. For answers are never the light.. Questions are the light we hold to navigate through life. The stagnation on an answer is consider stuck in an illusion for there is more to life that than an incomplete, limited answer."
